Montane Wildlife Checklist
Mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians of Sabah hill and montane forest — Kinabalu Park, Crocker Range, Mount Trus Madi and similar places.
Use this list for mountain trips (roughly 900 m and above). Species found at both heights are on the Lowland list too.

How to use this checklist
During your trip
- Add your name and a name for your trip in the boxes above.
- One tab = one day. Fill in the date and the place (for example “Kinabatangan – Sukau”). Tap + Day at the end of the tabs to start the next day.
- Tap a species to tick it off. Type a number in the little box to say how many you saw. Use the search box to find an animal by name.
- The gold Trip total tab shows everything you have seen across all your days.
- Your ticks save automatically on this phone, in this browser, so please don’t clear your browser data during the trip.
When you are done
- Send to AAB — goes straight to Nick and Mike, so we can see what you saw. You can add photos too.
- Download PDF — a keepsake of your trip with the Adventure Alternative Borneo logo. On a phone, Share PDF sends it to WhatsApp, email or Drive.
- Email it to me / WhatsApp it to me — sends the full list as text so you have it in your own inbox or chat.
